Visual Recognition and Hidden Symbols
Half the questions focus on what your eyes see every day without really analyzing it. What do the three points of the Mercedes star symbolize? What animal is hidden in the Toblerone mountain? Where's the white arrow in the FedEx logo? The Amazon logo connects two letters with an arrow — what's it saying? Many emblems hide a clever detail, slipped in by the designer, that most people have never noticed. The quiz forces you to take a second look at logos you thought you knew by heart.
Origins, Countries, and Slogans
The other half digs into the history. IKEA is Swedish, Nokia is Finnish, Samsung is South Korean, Lego is Danish, and Häagen-Dazs is American despite its Scandinavian-sounding name. Adidas owes its name to Adi Dassler, Google to the mathematical term "googol," and Nike to the Greek goddess of victory. Some slogans are part of pop-culture heritage: "Just Do It" for Nike since 1988, "Think Different" for Apple starting in 1997. The quiz also covers the Michelin Man, the brand's mascot born in 1898, and the designer who created the Apple logo in 1977.
