NBA Trivia: Finals, MVPs, Teams, and Records
This NBA quiz brings together 90 verified questions about the league: the rules and scoring, the franchises and where they started, NBA Finals history, individual awards, the draft, and the players behind the biggest records. Three difficulty levels, a timer, a real-time leaderboard, and nothing to install. It all runs right in your browser. If you like NBA trivia, you can also try our basketball quiz, which adds EuroBasket and the French national team, the NFL quiz, or browse every game on the sports quiz page.
Three Levels, From the Rules to the Record Book
The easy level covers what every fan knows: five players on the court, 12-minute quarters, the 24-second shot clock, and who won the most championships. The medium level moves to recent seasons and the big moments: the Knicks' 2026 title, the Cavaliers' comeback from 3-1 down in 2016, Curry's unanimous MVP, and Westbrook's triple-doubles. The hard level is for true fans: Wilt Chamberlain's 100-point game in Hershey, Pennsylvania, the Celtics' eight straight titles, and franchises that once played under other names.
Every Record Is Dated
NBA records change, so every statistic in the quiz says when it was true, for example "as of the end of the 2025-26 season." Facts were checked against NBA.com, Basketball-Reference, and the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, and any question we could not confirm was left out.
